Steven Beichner Obituary

Steven Jeffrey Beichner, 60, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, while at his home surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle against cancer. Steven was born on September 7, 1965, to the late Daniel Joseph Beichner Sr. and late Lois Jean (Best) Smith, in Oil City, PA. He graduated from Keystone High School in Knox, PA with the Class of 1983. He studied computers in college and later ran his own business over the years, repairing many computers for his customers. He was also a restaurant manager at various places including Perkins Restaurant in DuBois. Most recently, he worked for Berry Global where he retired after working over 25 years in August of 2023. Steven is survived by Brenda K. Bish, they were married on December 15, 1995, in Brookville, PA. Steven loved bowling, golfing, camping, and playing cornhole. He enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger years. He loved to go to Pymatuning State Park with his family to fish. He was also a DJ and was a karaoke entertainer for many years. He still enjoyed music and singing at home with his wife and family. Above all else, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his kitties. In addition to his wife, Steven is survived by one daughter: Donielle Moore; two stepsons: Andrew (Valerie) Irvine and Alex (Kathryn) Irvine; and one brother: Daniel Joseph Beichner Jr. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Aaralynn Switzer, Nico Dorsey, Isaac Irvine, Ian Irvine, Ebaney Irvine, Deklyn Irvine, Dominic Henry. In addition to his parents, Steven is preceded in passing by his stepfather: Emory Smith. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 2pm-4pm and 5pm to 7pm, at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A funeral service will take place immediately following the second visitation, beginning at 7pm and officiated by Pastor Jim Fillhart.
