Shirley Ann Gadley

Shirley Ann Gadley, 87, of Brookville, PA, passed on Monday, July 3, 2023, surrounded by family in Brookville. She was born on January 18, 1936, to the late Andrew Leslie and Helen Jane (Bussard) Smith in Falls Creek, PA. Shirley owned various businesses throughout her life including Shirley’s Jean Shack, she also worked for Sylvania and was most recently a manager for Goodwill. Shirley is survived by two sons; Steven Keith Gadley; Terry Lynn (Barbi) Gadley; two grandchildren; Kira Lynn (Doug) Walker; Jacob Richard (Nicole) Gadley; two great grandchildren; Dakota Walker; Izzy Walker; one sister; Geraldine Olson; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in passing by her husband; Richard Harold Gadley; one son; Richard “Doc” Gadley; one sister; Stella Bullers; and four brothers; William “Loup” Leslie Smith; Richard “Dick” Edward Smith; Raymond “Ray” Leroy Smith; and Robert “Bob” Smith.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825.
