Shirley Arlene (Moore) Dickey, 85, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on January 17, 2025, while a resident of Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA. Shirley was born on April 10, 1939, to the late Arthur and Clara (Vasbinder) Moore in Reynoldsville, PA. She graduated from the DuBois Area High School. Shirley married Calvin Maurice Dickey on August 29, 1958, in Emerickville, PA. Shirley and her husband, Calvin, owned and operated a dairy farm. She was a member of the Emerickville United Methodist Church. Shirley enjoyed reading, sewing, and jigsaw puzzles. She also had a love for all animals. Shirley is survived by two daughters: Denise (Christopher) Shreve of Cochranton, PA, and Darlene (Scott) Steinbach of Olympia, WA; one brother: Eugene (Donna) Moore of Warren, PA; two grandchildren: Zachary (Samantha) Keller of Cochranton, PA, and Shane Keller of Caret, VA; five great-grandchildren: Chase, Grayson, Brooks, and Aelin Keller of Cochranton, PA, and Theo Keller of Alexandria, VA. In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley is preceded in passing by one son: Jeffrey Dickey; and one granddaughter: Jessica Keller. A memorial service will held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, beginning at 11am, at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. Interment will take place at Butler Cemetery, Rose Twp., Jefferson Co., PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Emerickville United Methodist Church, 13345 Route 322, Brookville, PA 15825.
