Sheila Denise (Bierly) Jenkins

Sheila Denise (Bierly) Jenkins, 73, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022, while a patient at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. She was born on April 28, 1948, to the late James D. and Mildred Berniece (Bierly) Wray in DuBois, PA. Sheila graduated from DuBois High School with the first class that combined Reynoldsville students with the DuBois school district. She went on to earn an Associate Degree at DuBois Business College. Sheila married Larry Arthur Jenkins on June 13, 1992, in Reynoldsville; Larry preceded her in passing on January 4, 2010. Sheila worked as a typist for United Cerebral Palsy in Falls Creek, PA, she retired from Fullington bus service as a ticket agent. Sheila had a strong faith in God and was a member of the Reynoldsville First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Humanitarian Riders Motorcycle Club. Sheila loved the Lord and attended the First Baptist Church for years, where she was also a member of the choir. She loved to sing and could also play piano beautifully just by ear. Sheila enjoyed roller skating when she was younger and was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Sheila loved to laugh and spread her joy with her contagious smile, which could brighten any room. Above all else, Sheila loved her family, and her true passion was caring for her children. Sheila is survived by two children; Lorinda Marie (Lawrence) Larson; Michael Oren (Tonya) Bierly; five grandchildren; Nathan John Baker; Michaela Durie Bierly; Denzel Neal; Patrick Bierly; Terrence Neal; three great grandchildren; Jasper Hastings; Eliza Bierly; Ezekiel Neal; three siblings; Carole Irene (Richard) Henshaw; Cynthia Ann (Robert) Crosby; Pamela Jean (Gary) Basinger; her beloved cat; Mokey; one grandpuppy; Stormie; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Sheila was preceded in passing by one niece; Carrie Ann Tapper; one great niece; Melina Butler; her fur baby; Benji; and one grandpuppy; Teddy. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, from 5pm to 8pm at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home,206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, also at the funeral home, beginning at 11:30am and officiated by Pastor Sam Bundy. Interment will take place at the Reynoldsville Cemetery, Reynoldsville, Jefferson Co., PA.
