Ronald George Holt

Ronald George Holt, 76, of Falls Creek, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, while a patient at Penn Highlands Brookville Hospital. Ronald was born on December 23, 1946, to the late Robert and Katherine Holt. He graduated from Brockway High School with the Class of 1965. Ronald married Beverly Ann McGranor on February 3, 1968, in Reynoldsville, PA; Beverly survives him. He worked for Brockway Glass for 38 years until his retirement. Ronald was an avid golfer and loved to spend his time at Scottish Heights Golf Course. He was very hard working and owned and operated two businesses, Holt Excavation and Holt Busing. Above all else, he loved his grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Ronald is the father of; Sherri (Kirk) Martin of Jacksonville, FL; Lora Holt of Dubois, PA; grandfather of four grandchildren; Austin Smith of Fayetteville, AR; Kyle Patton Adams; Derrick Smith of Clearfield, PA; Hailey (Nicole) Adams of DuBois, PA; and great-grandfather of five great-grandchildren; Jaiden Beam of Palm Coast, FL; Kylee Holt of Fayetteville, AR; Alexander Smith of Clearfield, PA; Abigail Dearmit of DuBois, PA; and Miesha Dearmit of DuBois, PA. In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in passing by one brother; Larry Holt. Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 14, 2023, from 10 AM to 1PM at the Snyder-d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main St., Reynoldsville PA, 15825. A funeral service will be held immediately following the viewing, also at the funeral home, beginning at 1:00 PM, and officiated by Pastor Gary Donaldson. Interment will take place at Beechtree Union Cemetery, Brockway, Jefferson Co., PA.
