Rebecca "Mama" Louise Watkins

Rebecca “Mama” Louise Watkins, 82, of Punxsutawney, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital in DuBois, PA. Rebecca was born on August 27, 1940, to the late Robert LeRoy and Alice Mae (Smith) Charles in Punxsutawney. She graduated from Punxsutawney Area High School and spent her life as a homemaker, taking care of her family. Rebecca was a devout Christian by faith. She was a selfless, devoted caregiver, who was full of laughter and loved her family. Rebecca is survived by three children; Terry (Sandra) Watkins; Carole Giles; Rebecca “Belynn” (Kenneth) Walker; daughter-in-law; Evelyn (Rick) Dubose; one sister; Anne (Dr. Stephen) Bush; nine grandchildren; Jessica Croes; Andrew Croes; Nicole (Patrick) Pomeroy; Nicolas (Catherine Sydenstricker) Callender; Corey Watkins; Kristopher (Victoria Grove) Watkins; Mark Farnsworth; Amber Watkins; and Keshia (Robert Marshall III) Farnsworth. Rebecca is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; Laila Arzouni; Zackary Arzouni; Samantha Croes; Addilyn Marshall; Robert Marshall IV; Richard Higgs; Evelyn Higgs; Avri Watkins; Lanie Watkins; Jolene Watkins; Cillian Callender; Sienna Watkins; and Brayden Riggie. In addition to her parents, Rebecca is preceded in passing by her loving son; Robert Dale Watkins; two brothers; Robert Charles; Dick Charles; one granddaughter; Camey Callender; and son-in-law; Anthony Croes.
