Norma Jean (Fox) Paine, 76, of Sigel, PA, passed away during the morning hours of Tuesday, June 20, 2023, while at her home. Norma was born on December 2, 1946, to the late John and Mamie (Young) Fox in Mundurf, PA. She graduated from Brockway Area High School. Norma worked for Brookville Glove for 45 years, where she spent 10 years on the Safety Committee. On May 7, 1966, Norma married Donald H. Paine in Sigel; Donald preceded her in passing. Norma was a member of the Sigel United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and Senior Church and held several offices. She was also a Cub Scout and Girl Scout Leader. She liked to crochet, read, quilt, and cross-stitch. Above all else, Norma loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Norma is survived by three children; Debra (Shawn) Kelly of Sigel, PA; Tracy (Clifford) Clark of Brookville, PA; Timothy Paine of Sigel, PA; one nephew whom she raised; John Fox; three sisters; Shirley (Elmer) Boyer of Sigel, PA; Connie (Arthur) Smith of Knox, PA; and Janet Hetrick of Clarion, PA. Norma is also survived by nine grandchildren; Ronald Kelly; Tesha Kelly; Elaina Kelly; Elijah Kelly; Teagan Kelly; Tristrum Clark; Grayson Clark; and Lincoln Clark. In addition to her parents and husband, Norma is preceded in passing by one granddaughter; Liana Kelly; two brothers; Wayne Fox and John Fox. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 4pm to 6pm, at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. A second viewing will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 11am to 1pm, at the Sigel United Methodist Church, 8668 PA-949, Sigel, PA 15860. A funeral service will be held immediately following the second viewing, also at the church, beginning at 1pm and officiated by Pastor Alex McConnell. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Sigel United Methodist Church. Interment will take place at Cedarview Memorial Park, Clarion Twp., Clarion Co., PA.
