Nelda E Bryan

Nelda E. Bryan, 95, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, while a resident of the DuBois Nursing Home in DuBois, PA. Nelda was born on January 2, 1930, to the late Galon S. and Cara M. (Hetrick) Smith, in Washington Twp., PA. She graduated from Reynoldsville High School with the Class of 1948. Nelda married James E. Peters, on December 11, 1954; James preceded her in passing on July 14, 1985. Nelda married Max A. Bryan on May 28, 1994, Max preceded her in passing on August 19, 2020. She was the secretary for Jeff Tech in Reynoldsville for 25 years until retirement in 1993. Nelda enjoyed quilting and loved spending time with her family. Nelda is survived by one daughter: Rhonda L. (Terry) Seger; two grandchildren: Daniel (Samantha) Seger and Michele (Chase) Davis; one sister: Dorothy R. Kirkwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands, Nelda was preceded in passing by two brothers: Eugene Smith and Robert Smith; and five sisters: Stella Burkhouse, Patricia Hicks, Annabelle McNulty, Delma Tonel, and Rhoda Shope. All services will be held privately to the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851.
