Nancy Aldine (Dennison) (Johnston) Schiafone, 82, of Brookville, went to be with Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, while at home. Nancy was born on December 24, 1942, to the late Darwin Dennison and Margaret (Smith) and stepfather, Dale Miller in Dubois, PA. Nancy married Roger Johnston on January 19, 1963, in Brookville, PA; Roger preceded her in passing on October 14, 2009. She ran a beauty shop for a short period of time before dedicating her time to her children and running her household. Nancy married William J. “Bill” Schiafone Sr. on November 15, 2015; Bill survives her. Nancy was a past member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church, a current member of the Roseville Independent Chapel, and Women’s Auxiliary of the Gideons International. Nancy was very active in her faith and held many positions over the years within the church. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross where she was known to provide some of the best food for the other volunteers. Her cooking and baking was enjoyed by everyone. Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her husband, Bill, Nancy is survived by two children, Victor (Faith) Johnston, Lisa (Robert) Harmon, three stepchildren, Linda Goss Brenda (Richard) Deal, Allen Schiafone, William Jr. (Erin) Shiafone, three siblings, Samuel (Gloria) Miller, Roy Miller, Janice (Jim) Rowan, four grandchildren, Kyle (Lauren) Johnston, Tara Johnston, Justin (Megan) Harmon, Ethan (Christine) Harmon, seven step grandchildren, Johnnie Goss Jr., Heidi Gonzales, Michelle Goss, William Deal, Alanna Klawuhn, Ashley Schiafone, Rachael Schiafone, four great grandchildren, Katherine Johnston, Benjamin Johnston, Riley Harmon, Colby Harmon, numerous step grandchildren, and two step great great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 4pm – 8pm at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Brookville, PA 15825. A second viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 10am – 11am at the Roseville Independent Chapel, 3598 US -322, Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will take place immediately following the viewing beginning at 11:00am and officiated by Pastor Jim Fillhart also at the Roseville Independent Chapel.
