Mark E. Dlugos

Mark E. Dlugos, 65, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, while at his home with his wife by his side. Mark was born on September 2, 1958, to Edward Joe and Patricia A. (Nalepa) Dlugos in Greensburg, PA. He graduated from Hempfield Area School District with the Class of 1977. On June 26, 1981, Mark married Susan Moore in Westmoreland County, PA; Susan survives him. Mark was a retired mechanic from the Hempfield Area School District. He was a member of the St. Tobias Church in Brockway, PA, Hecla Sportsman Club in Mt. Pleasant, PA, Orient Club, SOI Club, Brockway Sportsman Club, and the Brookville Fire Hall. Mark was a simple man who loved woodworking, building furniture, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his wife, Mark is survived by one sister; Cindy (Bob) Stewart of North Carolina; one brother; Jeffrey (Jan) Dlugos of Greensburg, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Mark is preceded in passing by his father and one son; Matthew Dlugos. All services will be held privately to the family and have been entrusted to the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825.
