Marjorie Bowlby

Marjorie Bowlby, 95, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022, while a resident at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA. Marjorie was born on April 12, 1927, to the late Andrew M. and Loretta L. (Horak) Haggerty in Reynoldsville, PA. Marjorie worked at Jeff Tech and retired after fifteen years in 1989. She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Parish in Reynoldsville. Marjorie married William J. Bowlby Sr. on April 26, 1948; William preceded her in passing on October 30, 2015. Marjorie was a simple woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and quilting. She will be dearly missed by those closest to her. Marjorie is survived by one son; William J. (Susan) Bowlby Jr.; two grandchildren; Shannon D. Bowlby; Corey J. (Jonelle) Bowlby; one great granddaughter; Cecilia Bowlby; and one sister; F. Dolores Yuckenberg. In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was preceded in passing by one son; and one brother. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at St. Mary’s Parish, 607 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851, beginning at 10:00am. Interment will take place at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Winslow Twp., Jefferson Co., PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E.
