Margaret Ann (Deegan) Kaizer, lovingly known as “Cricket,” passed away peacefully at the age of 92. Born on December 28, 1932, in Reynoldsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Henry Deegan and Vira Zelma (Fuller) Deegan.
A lifelong resident of Reynoldsville, Cricket was deeply rooted in her faith and her community. She was a devoted member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she found joy in the Rosary and Altar Society. She also dedicated many years to the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, serving as a lifelong member and past president of the Eagles Auxiliary. Her love for her hometown was evident in her years of service on the Reynoldsville Homecoming Committee, helping to create cherished memories for so many.
Cricket’s love for family and friends brought joy to everyone she met. Whether it was playing cards, having a cup of coffee, drinking a beer, preparing or sharing a meal at her kitchen table, Cricket’s life and her unwavering spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Above all, Cricket was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children: Denise (Jack) Dennison, Betsy (Jeff) Stover, and Tom (Vanessa Kuntz) Kaizer, who will forever cherish the love and wisdom she shared. She was the proud grandmother of Tom (Brandy) Dennison, Dan (Angela) Dennison, Jessica (Adam) Millard, Danielle (Billy) Bonura, Deidra (Brad) Zediak, Darci (Mitchell) Gresock, Deanne Kaizer. Her great-grandchildren: Ella, Rylee, Jaxson, Hunter, Berkeley, Bria, Brad III, William, Blair, Dominic who brought endless joy to her heart. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love for those she held dear.
Cricket was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Frances, Thomas, William, Raymond, and Elizabeth.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Snyder - d’Argy Funeral Home, located at 206 East Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. The Rosary will be recited at 1:30pm by the St. Mary’s Rosary and Altar Society. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 607 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851, officiated by Father Ben Daghir.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Reynoldsville Public Library, to the Reynoldsville Foundry, or to the Reynoldsville Swimming Pool.
