Louise “Bucky” Cribbs, 90, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away during the early morning hours of Saturday, January 6, 2024, while a resident of Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA. She was born on March 31, 1933, to the late Louis Notto Sr. and Clara E. (Fumanti) Notto in Winslow Township, near Reynoldsville. Bucky attended school in the Reynoldsville area and went on to work at Rola Jenson in Punxsutawney, where she retired from. Bucky married Arthur C. Cribbs on October 25, 1952; Arthur preceded her in passing on May 15, 1996. She was Catholic by faith and a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Reynoldsville. Bucky was an avid bingo player and would travel to many venues to play games as often as she could. She loved kids and enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren. Bucky loved her family above all else and will be dearly missed by many. Bucky is survived by two sons; John M. (Tina) Cribbs; James A. (Connie) Cribbs; three daughters; Mary Ann (Harry) Bodenhorn; Barbara O’Brien; Delores (Fred) Birch; one daughter in law; Dawn Dickey; one brother; Sandy (Carol) Notto; two sisters; Angeline Domitrovich; Jackie Martin; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Bucky was preceded in passing by one son; Robert L. Cribbs; one brother; Louis Notto Jr.; and one infant sister; Mary Ann. Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 8, 2024, from 4pm to 8pm at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 607 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851, beginning at 10:00am and officiated by Father Ben Daghir. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Reynoldsville, Jefferson Co., PA. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Christ the King Manor, 1100 W. Long Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801, or to the Reynoldsville Fire Department, 411 Jackson Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851.
