Lois Adelia (Kifer) Aharrah

Lois Adelia (Kifer) Aharrah, 94, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022, while a resident of Brookside Senior Living. She was born on September 19, 1927, to the late John Chesterfield and Cora Ellen (Kahle) Kifer in Kane, PA. Lois worked for G.C. Murphy Co. throughout her career. Lois married Charles Spurgeon Aharrah Jr., on June 6, 1964, in Butler, PA; Charles survives her. She was a member of the Edeburn United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in passing by one sister; Edith (Charles) Cunningham of Oakdale, CA; and three brothers:  Raymond (Lillie Jane) Kifer, of Butler, PA; Kenneth (Rosalie) Kifer of Fitchburg, MA; and Richard “Bud” (Virginia) Kifer of Sharon, PA. Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 4pm to 7pm at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. A second visitation will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 10am to 11am also at the funeral home. A funeral service will take place immediately following the second visitation, beginning at 11:00am and officiated by Pastor Joni Williams.
