Karen E Siple

Karen E. Siple, 84, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away during the evening hours of Wednesday, June 18, 2025, while at her home surrounded by family. Karen was born on July 18, 1940, to the late William and Margaret (Crawford) Cable in Emerickville, PA. She graduated from Brookville Area High School with the Class of 1958. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Reynoldsville. Karen married the love of her life, Arthur D. Siple, on June 27, 1959; Arthur preceded her in passing on June 5, 2001. She was a Nurse’s Assistant and worked with in physical therapy at Christ the King Manor until retirement. She was lovingly known as “Aunt Boo” to her family. Karen loved to read, do puzzles, animals, and snowmen. She also enjoyed true crime and watching the ID channel. Karen was loved by all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed. Karen is survived by four sons: William A. (Glenda) Siple, Jeffrey S. (Tina) Siple, Michael S. Siple, and Lawerance A. Siple; two daughters: Debra D. Doverspike and Laurie A. Hinojosa; two sisters: Esther R. (Roger) Shafer and Marilyn J. Swab. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and numerous great – grandchildren, all of whom she adored. In addition to her parents and husband, Karen is preceded in passing by three brothers: Ronald D. Cable, Harry E. “Pete” Cable, and Larry J. Cable; numerous grandchildren and family members. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 11am to 2pm, at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A funeral service will be held immediately following the viewing, beginning at 2pm. Interment will take place at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Winslow Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.
