Karen Dee Bowers

Karen Dee Bowers, age 85, passed away July 3, 2024, surround by her loving family.

Mrs. Bowers was born in Brookville, PA. on February 28, 1939, to Arlie & Betty (Neel) Fulton. She moved from Indiana to Mulberry, Florida 28 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Ardella Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and crafting.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years Robert Bowers, Sr. of Mulberry, FL., son Robert "Bob" (Tonya) Bowers, Jr. of Tampa, FL., daughters: Carla (Ron) Jordan of Brookville, PA., Brenda (Bob) Cook of Lynchburg, VA., Jane Childs of Redkey, IN, and Nikki Parks (Bill Zorn) of Portland, IN., 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, sisters Gloria Crase of Heath OH, Judy (Hugo) Tapia of Lakeland, FL., Sherry Dinger of Sigel, PA., aunt Nancy Neel of Brookville, PA., and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 4pm to 5pm at the McKinney - d'Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will take place immediately following the viewing, also at the funeral home, beginning at 5pm and officiated by Pastor Ray Baker.
