Justin Jerrell

Justin Jerrell, 35, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away during the evening hours of Saturday, October 14, 2023. Son to John “Jack” and Barbara Matusky, Justin was born on July 17, 1988, in Hattiesburg, MS. Justin graduated from the building trade program at Vo Tech in 2007. He went on to work for Symmco in Sykesville, PA, and also held a position at One Stop in Reynoldsville. Justin enjoyed music, not only listening to it, but he would jot down his own lyrics whenever the mood struck him. He was also an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed the PA wilds and hunting and fishing in them. Above all else, Justin loved his family and enjoyed visiting with them whenever he could. Justin is survived by one son; Zack Pierce; two brothers; Sam Jerrell; Michael Jerrell; two sisters; Amy Matusky; Jill (Alan) Moore; four nephews; Isaac Jerrell; Madison Jerrell; Jalynn Jerrell; Connor Jerrell; his birth mother; Missy Jerrell; and one brother-in-law; Todd Javens. Justin was preceded in passing by his mother; Barbara Matusky; and one sister; Beth Javens. Services will be held privately to the family and have been entrusted to the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851.
