Joshua Pearce

Joshua Paul Pearce, 36, of Kailua-Kona, died on Monday, October 9, 2023, at Kona Community Hospital. He was born on August 9, 1987, in Brookville, Pennsylvania. He was a computer technician for Cayuse Technology. Joshua resided in Kona, Hawaii, for the last six years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking, backpacking, canoeing, and taking scenic pictures. He is survived by his parents, Melody (Breth) Mochnick, Dennis Mochnick; two aunts; three uncles; and nine cousins. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 10am to 11am, at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation, beginning at 11am. Final interment will take place at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Eldred Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.
