Jennenne Smith

Jennenne T. Smith, 87, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, while a resident of Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA. Jennenne was born on September 29, 1937, to the late Emerson and Madeline (Forsyth) Smith in DuBois. She graduated from Brockway Area School District. She was the tax collector for Washington Township. Jennenne married Dallas Smith on October 19, 1962, at the Lutheran Church in Hormtown. She was a member of the Beechwoods Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder, a member of the choir, and a Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the Eastern Star #220 in Reynoldsville. Jennenne enjoyed being outside, gardening, and flowers. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, singing, and collecting decorative frogs. Jennenne is survived by three children: April Smith-Torhan, Crys Forsyth-Smith, and Eric (Amanda) Smith; two sisters: Judy (Benjamin) Taylor, Vicki (Mike) Koromaus; one brother: Stewart (Debbie) Smith. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Allen Torhan, Savannah Cardinale, and Emerson Smith. In addition to her parents and husband, Jennenne is preceded in passing by one sister: Sandra Reitz. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 10am to 11am at the Beechwoods Presbyterian Church, 14 Beechwoods Road, Falls Creek, PA 15840. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation beginning at 11am and officiated by Pastor David Koehler. Final interment will take place at Beechwoods Cemetery, Jefferson Co., PA. Memorial contributions may be made in name to Beechwoods Presbyterian Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.com.
