Janet Mae Delp

Janet Mae Delp, 64, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024, while a patient at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Janet was born on September 3, 1959, to the late Larry and Elvira Harbison in Natrona Heights, PA. Janet drove school bus for several years and was a CNA at the local nursing homes. She loved to knit and crochet and also enjoyed going bowling. Above all else, she loved her family. She was an amazing mother and grandmother and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Janet is survived by her loving life partner of 31 years: Bryan Kirkman; two children: Michelle Delp and Jack Delp; four grandchildren: Sabrina Alford, Abigail Alford, Keirstin Delp, and Britney Delp; five great-grandchildren: Allison, Brooklyn, Joseph, Sophia, and Odin. She is also survived by one brother: Jody Harbison; and two sisters: Becca McCumbers and Florence O’Conner. In addition to her parents, Janet is preceded in passing by one sister: Cindy Hoak.
