Howard Clayton McMillen Jr.

Howard Clayton McMillen Jr., 88, of Brookville, PA, passed away during the evening hours of Sunday, June 11, 2023, while a resident of the McKinley Health Center in Brookville. Howard was born on May 24, 1935, to the late Howard “Pete” Clayton Sr. and Mary Agnus (Sarvey) McMillen in Brookville. He worked for Brockway Glass for 30 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #983. Howard married Shirley Ann Wallace in Brookville; Shirley preceded him in passing. Howard was well loved in the community and will be missed by everyone who knew him. Howard is survived by one son; Jimmy McMillen; one brother; Ed McMillen; and three sisters; Mert, Jane, and Pauline. In addition to his parents and wife, Howard is preceded in passing by one daughter; Barbara McMillen; and one son; John McMillen. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, June 18, 2023, from 1pm to 5pm at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will take place on Monday, June 19, 2023, also at the funeral home, beginning at 11am and officiated by Pastor Jimmy Swogger.
