Henry Stevenson Obituary

Henry Stevenson Jr., 91, of Brockway, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor Personal Care in Brookville, PA. Henry was born on November 6, 1933, to the late Henry and Minerva (Clontz) Stevenson in Winslow Twp., PA. Henry married Edith “Gerry” Larimer on July 30, 1958; after 66 ½ wonderful years of marriage, Gerry survives him. Henry proudly served his country with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Henry worked for the Brockway Area School District in maintenance until retirement. Henry was a member of the Beechtree Union Church, American Legion #95, Falls Creek Fire Department, and Brockway Fire Department and Ambulance. Henry was a simple man, who loved to be outside. He enjoyed hunting and gardening. He especially loved to have a huge vegetable garden every year. Henry also enjoyed walking his property. He was also a beef cow farmer for many years. Henry always had a joke for everyone he met and will be dearly missed by all that knew him. In addition to his wife, Henry is survived by four children, James (Sharon) Stevenson, Robin (Bruce) Warrender, Nancy (Stacy) Senior, Bonnie (Daniel) Keller, eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in passing by six sisters, Margaret Long, Shirley Williams, Mary Stevenson, Harriet Stevenson, Lottie Stevenson, Edith Henderson. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 10 – 11 am at the Beechtree Union Church, 5061 Westville Rd., Brockway, PA 15824. A funeral service will be held immediately following the viewing, beginning at 11:00AM, and officiated by Rev. Terry Felt. Military Honors will be rendered by the Brockway American Legion #95.
