Helen "Sue" Susan Alvetro

Helen “Sue” Susan Alvetro, 71, of DuBois, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023, while a resident of Christ the King Manor. She was born on May 5, 1952, to the late Raymond R. and Joann M. (Johnston) Alvetro in DuBois. Sue graduated from DuBois School District with the class of 1970. She went on to work for Fat Man’s Pizza in the kitchen, where she eventually retired from. Sue was Catholic by faith and a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Parish in Reynoldsville, PA. She had spent the last years of her life living amongst the wonderful community at Christ the King Manor. She was an extremely sociable person who had a long list of friends made up of other residents and staff at the facility. She will be dearly missed by many. Sue is survived by one brother; Randy (Patti) Alvetro; one niece; and one nephew. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 4pm to 7pm at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A funeral service will take place immediately following the viewing, beginning at 7:00pm and officiated by Father Matias Quimno. Final interment will take place at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Winslow Twp., Jefferson Co., PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Christ the King Manor, 1100 W.
