Hazel E. McDivitt, 83 of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, while a resident of Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor in Brookville, PA. Hazel was born on April 11, 1942, to the late Gary and Iva (Martin) Bish in Punxsutawney, PA. She is survived by four children: Kevin Jewell, Randy (Shelly) Jewell, Jeffrey Jewell, and Darlene Conners; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two brothers: Roy (Winifred) Bish, Darrel (Judy) Bish; four sisters: Annabelle Rhodes, Colleen Bish; predeceased by Betty Humble and Gloria Wright.
Hazel worked in housekeeping and as a CNA in DuBois hospital in PA and as a CNA in the Olean Hospital in NY. She was an active volunteer at the Foundry Senior Center in Reynoldsville & one year she was chosen as volunteer of the month and she also volunteered at the Reynoldsville library. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Reynoldsville. Hazel loved her dogs and raised yorkies and silkies in the past. Hazel was funny, witty, compassionate, kind and forgiving and she easily made friends everywhere she went and will be truly missed by many.
