Frances L. (Mauk) Lingenfelter, 95, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, while a resident of the Dubois Nursing Home in DuBois, PA. Frances was born on October 17, 1929, in Oliver Twp., to the late William George and Mary L. (Lewis) Mauk. She graduated from Reynoldsville High School. Frances married Joseph Lingenfelter on March 18, 1948, he preceded her in passing on May 21, 1992. She worked various jobs over the years, including Brown’s Boot Shop and as a realtor. Frances was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir, and a Sunday school teacher. She was also a former member of the Women’s Club in Reynoldsville and Red Hat Society. Frances enjoyed music and playing the violin. She loved spending time with her family. Frances is survived by her daughter-in–law, Sylvia Lingenfelter, five grandchildren; Jason (Wendy) Lingenfelter, Kelly (Matthew) White, Cindi (Jared) Duran, Michael (Melissa) Lingenfelter, and Matthew Lingenfelter; eight great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; and two nieces; Judy Wendt and Jody Wood. In addition to her parents and husband, Frances is preceded in passing by two sons: Robert D. Lingenfelter and Ronald Lingenfelter; two sisters: Betty France and Jean Hiles; and a special friend: Les Shaw. In accordance with her wishes, services were held privately to her family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the d’Argy Family Funeral Homes, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA, 15851.
