Ellen Bernice (Gannoe) Moose

Ellen Bernice (Gannoe) Moose, 88, of Sigel, PA, passed away during the late hours of Sunday, May 25, 2025, while at her home with her husband by her side. Ellen was born on February 4, 1937, to the late Floyd Lester and Anna Catherine (Mobberly) Gannoe in Coraopolis, PA. She graduated from high school and was a clerical for the city government. Ellen married Homer Carlton Moose on May 3, 1958, in Coraopolis; after 67 wonderful years together, Homer survives her. In addition to her husband, Ellen is survived by one daughter: Peggy (Bernie Bittinger) Murray; three grandchildren: Natalie Murray, Jessica Murray, and Melissa (Earl) Finzel; three great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Remington, and Scout; one sister: Mary Mirage; and one brother: Floyd L. Gannoe Jr. Following her wishes, there will be no services held. All arrangements have been entrusted to the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825.
