Diana "Diane" Gail (Niper) Terwilliger

Diana “Diane” Gail (Niper) Terwilliger, 70, of Brookville, PA, passed away during the early morning hours of Friday, March 31, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 15, 1952, to the late John Vincent and Mildred Rose (Cordwell) Niper in Johnstown, PA. She attended Perkiomen High School. Diane married the love of her life, Wayne Leroy H. Terwilliger, on May 31, 1979, in Brookville; Wayne survives her. Diane was a very outgoing person who loved to travel and visit all of her favorite spots. She loved her home in Brookville and enjoyed the local events, like the Jefferson County Fair and Laurel Festival on main street. When she was at home she loved watching tv especially cooking shows and old tv shows. When she ate she had very traditional tastes, always ordering meatloaf and mashed potatoes, no matter where she ate. Above all else, Diane loved her family, and spent as much of her time as she could with them, especially at family gatherings and outings. She will be dearly missed as a beloved part of her family. In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by three children; Jack (Stephanie) Niper; Shawna Terwilliger; Steve (Aundrea) Terwilliger; three siblings; Hope McCarty; John Niper; Kathy Niper; eleven grandchildren; Devin Armagost; Jordan Hankey; Taylor Niper; Elvis Terwilliger; Kimberly Terwilliger; Dalton Terwilliger; Natalie Terwilliger; Dante Niper; Ryden Niper; Aleera Niper; Halie Dennison; four great grandchildren; Hank Walters; Asher Walters; Daxton Mathers; Cullin Mathers; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in passing by two sisters; Judy Niper; Barbara Niper; and one son in law; Sean Armagost. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 4pm to 8pm at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 6, 2023, also at the funeral home, beginning at 11:00am. Interment will take place at St. John’s (Windy Hill) Cemetery, Rose Township, Jefferson Co., PA.
