Delores J Urchuck

Delores Julia (Roy) Urchuck, 91 of Punxsutawney, formerly Anita, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Christ the King Manor. Known affectionately as “Honey or Hun” to her family and friends, she was born on January 31, 1934, in Rossiter. The eighth of eleven children (4th daughter) of the late Alexander and Julia (Dividock) Roy. Charles Joseph Urchuck and Honey were married in 1959, and they raised their four children, Brenda, Barbara, Joseph, and Beverly, in Anita.

She was a wonderful homemaker and mother and chose to enter the workforce after the children were grown. She was employed and retired from Dereume Glass Company where she was a Lehr Inspector and performed product packaging.

 Honey is survived by her four devoted children. Also, survived by their spouses, Jeffrey Alabran, Keith Mohney and Kathy Urchuck; Her grandchildren, Sierra, Nathan and Ariah Alabran, Kyle Mohney, Keaton Starko, Kaston Palmiere, Tyler Urchuck, Savannah Shirley, and Shainah Neal; six great-grandchildren; brother, Albert J. "Toots" Roy and wife Loretta of Punxsutawney and sister Dorothy Freno of Chesterland, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant grandson, Tanner Alexander Mohney; five brothers, Frank, Alexander, John, Paul and George Roy; and three sisters, Sophia Hamelin, Margaret Shaffer and Pauline McDaniel.

Memorial donations may be sent to Anita Community Park Association Inc, PO Box 246, Anita PA 15711 in support of their maintenance and improvement efforts. A place of cherished memories of sun, fun, friends, games, parties, and reunions.
