Connie J. (Creveling) Schott, born February 9, 1957, of Level Green, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Allegheny General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Connie was a devoted wife, loving mother, sister, sister-in-law, and proud grandmother, aunt, great-aunt and cousin whose selflessness and love for her family touched everyone who knew her. She faced her illness with remarkable bravery and grace, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, compassion, and unwavering love.
She is survived by her beloved husband: Joseph Schott of Level Green, Pennsylvania; her son: Tyler Schott and Ashley of Upper Saint Clair, Pennsylvania; and her daughter: Hannah Catalfu and Craig of Helena, Alabama. Connie was a cherished “Gee” to Olivia Schott, Cash Catalfu, Caden Schott, Wayland Catalfu, and Cheyenne Catalfu, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
She is also survived by her brothers, Larry Creveling and Ann of Westminster, South Carolina; and Donald Creveling and Shirley of Greenville, Pennsylvania; as well as 12 nieces and nephews, and countless friends, acquaintances, and loved ones.
Connie was preceded in death by her father, David “Dean” Creveling, and her mother, Emma Creveling, both of Sigel, Pennsylvania.
Connie had a rare gift for making every person she met feel deeply seen, often through the heartfelt cards and notes she thoughtfully wrote to those she cared for. Her warmth and gentle spirit leave an irreplaceable emptiness in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
