Clair “Buzz” Francis Delarme, 75, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026, while at his home. Buzz was born on September 14, 1950, to the late Reuben and Illa Bonell (Shaffer) Delarme in DuBois, PA. He graduated from DuBois Area High School with the Class of 1968. He proudly served with the United States Army. Buzz owned his own lawn care business, Delarme’s Lawncare. He also worked for Owen’s Glass Plant in Brockway and Clarion, retiring in 2002. Buzz married the love of his life, Cynthia A. Neely on December 12, 1981, in Knox, PA; Cindy survives him. Buzz was a simple man who enjoyed working outside, tending to his flowers and landscape. He also enjoyed woodworking and was a great talker. He never met a stranger and could talk to anyone for hours. Buzz had a very close association with the Amish community in the area. He drove for the Amish for over 12 years making many friends along the way who he held dear to his heart. Buzz was also very active with soccer teams around the area. He coached the Reynoldsville Bulldogs soccer team and started the DuBois concession stand for Junior High soccer games. Buzz will be dearly missed by all that knew him, including his beloved rescue kitty, Frosty. In addition to his wife, Buzz is survived by one daughter: Elizabeth (Alan) Harkleroad of Mahaffy, PA; one son: Emerson Delarme of China; and one granddaughter: Madison Delarme of Mahaffy. He is also survived by two brothers: Henry (Susan) Delarme of Reynoldsville and Dean Delarme of Roosevelt, AZ; two sisters: Suzanne Cadena of Tacoma, WA and Crystal Snell of Reynoldsville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Buzz is preceded in passing by one brother: Alban Delarme; and one sister: Marilyn Delarme. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Reynoldsville Foundry, 45 W. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 1585, on January 24, 2026, beginning at 2pm. The family has requested casual dress for the Celebration of Life. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Gateway Humane Society, 1211 Airport Road, Falls Creek, PA 15840.
