Cindy Lee Saxton

Cindy Lee (Eddy) Saxton, 72, of Punxsutawney, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Cindy was born on May 7, 1953, to the late Clarence and Margaret Viola (Adams) Eddy in Punxsutawney. She attended the Indiana University of Pennsylvania to become a teacher. She worked retail and customer service for many years. Cindy was the vice president for the Punxsutawney Groundhog Festival. Cindy was very helpful and was the “dad” of the family always teaching her family how to fix things. Cindy is survived by three children: Maryann (Terry) Roseman, Lisa Wingard, and Chad (Shawna) Saxton; sixteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren with another on the way. In addition to her parents, Cindy is preceded in passing by her sister: Mary Wulfert. All services will be held privately to her family and have been entrusted to the Fait – d'Argy Funeral Home, 117 N. Jefferson Street, Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
