Carolyn “Ruth” (Dinger) Murray, 94, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, while a resident of Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA. She was born on February 21, 1928, to the late John Franklin and Angelina K. (Weicksel) Dinger in DuBois, PA. Ruth married Carroll Arthur Murray on July 15, 1949, in Reynoldsville, PA; Carroll preceded her in passing. Ruth received an associate degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. Ruth was a longtime member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Reynoldsville where she was an organist for 50 years. She was also a member of the Reynoldsville Public Library, Reynoldsville Women’s Club, and the Utopia Society. Ruth is survived by two sons; John C. (Margaret) Murray of Durham, NC, James M. (Christina) Murray of Barstow, CA; daughter; Julia M. (Mark) Keesey of York, PA; three grandchildren; Margaret C. Murray, James I. Murray, Hannah Murray; and four great-grandchildren; Julia, Emelia, Sebastian, and Esteban San (Steve) Murray. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth is preceded in passing by one sister Edith Bowers. All services will be held privately to the family and have been entrusted to the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851.
