A. Randall “Randy” Park, 81, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, while at his home. Randy was born on April 23, 1943, to the late James Edward and Lulu Violet (McAninch) Park in Brookville, PA. Randy graduated from Brookville Area High School with the Class of 1962. He proudly served with the United States Army Reserves as a Special Four in Brookville from 1961 to 1968. Randy married the love of his life, Carole Racchini on April 20, 1963, in Brookville; Carole survives him. He worked as a pin setter at VFW Club in Brookville, Ames Lumber Company, and Clarion College. He started working for the Pittsburg & Shawmut Railroad in 1967. He started in the office and then became a hostler and later an engineer. He retired from the railroad in 1997. Randy was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Brookville, Knox Township Rod and Gun Club, and the Brookville Firemans Club. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He was also a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #983 and the Pinecrest Country Club. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting firewood, golfing, playing cards, and shooting pool. He also enjoyed reading, watching sports, and gardening. In his younger years, he played softball and also coached little league baseball. Above all else, he loved to spend time with his family; especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Randy is survived by one daughter: Sandra (Ken) Reitz of Brookville; one daughter-in-law: Tina Park; one brother: Forrest Park of Rehoboth Beach, DE; four grandchildren: Richard Ford, Rochelle (Andrew) Hilliard, Elliette (Ben) Reitz, all of Brookville, and Nicole (Corey) Santoriello of Danville, VA. Randy is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Joshua, Jordan, and Ryleigh Ford of Punxsutawney, Adrian and Sophia Santoriello of Danville, VA, and Evelyn and Charlotte Hilliard of Brookville. In addition to his parents, Randy is preceded in passing by one son: David R. Park; and three brothers: Billy Park, James Park, and Dalton Park. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. A second viewing will take place on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 9am to 11am, also at the funeral home. Following the second viewing, a funeral service will take place beginning at 11am and officiated by Pastor Doug Dyson. Interment will take place at St. John’s (Windy Hill) Cemetery, Rose Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.
